John Massey has taught ballroom dance in the Department of Dance and Choreography at VCU since 1983. He began his teacher training in 1953 from Arthur Murray in NYC. He also teaches at the School of Richmond Ballet and at Rigby's Jig and various other studios in Richmond. Dance experience includes private and class teaching as well as stage performance. He received his BFA in Drama in 1972 from VCU.
