VCU Department of Music scholarships are awarded to incoming students based on their application materials and audition. All students that audition by March 7, 2008 are considered for Department of Music scholarships. Please note that students must audition by February 16, 2008 in order to be considered for University scholarships. Please see Important Dates.

Friends of VCU Music provides scholarships that cover the cost of 3-credit private lesson fees to deserving music majors each semester. Other area-specific scholarships are available in amounts ranging from private lesson fees to full tuition. Please contact the VCU Department of Music for more information on area-specific scholarships.
