University Band

Students who participated in their band programs throughout high school will enjoy the University Band. No audition is necessary to participate, and the band typically performs once each semester and has three 50-minute rehearsals per week.

The University Band provides an opportunity for musical performance as well as making new friends. Many students play throughout their time at VCU. Students come from a wide variety of academic programs, as well as a number of music majors. Please contact Dr. Terry Austin for more information.
