VCU PIANOFEST

Our first PianoFest took place on October 27, 2007, showcasing twenty-seven young pianists from across the state of Virginia alongside some of VCU’s best piano students.

The PianoFest program included participants’ concert, VCU piano faculty concert, master classes with Dr. Vlahcevic and Dr. Shteinberg, a jazz improvisation workshop with Mr. Russell Wilson and a lecture-presentation on hand injury prevention with Ms. Christine Moran, a certified hand therapist.
