Adam Chamberlin (Lighting Designer/Dance Technical Director) received his MFA in theatrical design from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently a member of the faculty and Lighting Designer for VCU Department of Dance and Choreography. He was the resident lighting designer for One World Theatre in Austin, Texas, where he designed lights for groups such as The Cowboy Junkies, Little Feat, Jerry JeffWalker, Stars of Maximum Dance, Tangokenisis, and ancescapes. Some of the other companies he has designed for include Silverstar Entertainment, River City Pops,American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensives, University of Scranton, Dalton High School, Charisma Modern Dance Co., Sharir + Bustamante Danceworks, and Andrea Beckman Collaborative Dance Project. He is involved with the Institute of Digital and Performing Arts, and conducts workshops internationally on the use and control of intelligent lighting fixtures and how to design with them.
