From Idea to Matter: Nine Sculptors

Richard Nonas was educated at the University of Michigan, Layfatte College, Columbia University, and the University of North Carolina. Nonas has exhibited his sculpture nationally and internationally and recently has shown at the Musée d'art Modern et Contemporain in Geneva, Switzerland, and completed permanent installations of his sculpture in Austria, France and Sweden. His work is included in the collections of museums and other public institutions throughout the world. Nonas has received awards from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council for the Arts. For From Idea to Matter, Nonas will exhibit several of his wood sculptures. Richard Nonas lives in New York |
