Jonathan Thomas

Jonathan Thomas received his BA in Art History and his BSc in Mathematics
from McMaster University in Canada. He completed graduate studies in Art
History at the University of Toronto, Canada. Thomas' work has shown in
several exhibitions, including solo shows at New Gallery, Houston, Jack Tilton Gallery, New York, and the Wadworth Atheneum in Hartford,Connecticut. His work has also been in group exhibitions at the Hillwood Art Museum, in Brookvile, NY, the Rosa Esman Gallery in New York and several Chicago Art Fair Group Shows.


For Idea to Matter, Thomas will show his multi-piece work, Fragment, 1999,
featuring forty-five sculptural columns made of pulp, paper, and acrylic polymer on wood.
