Juried Student Fine Arts Exhibition
Video Submission Requirements
The Anderson Gallery will have one main video reel that will present
all selected single channel videos on a large plasma screen television.
Students who enter work to be displayed on this reel must submit their videos
onmini-DV tape ONLY.
The mini DV tape should be cued to start and clearly labeled with the following information:
Name
Title of work
Year Created
Student’s Department
Class it was created for (or state if the work was self- initiated)
Time Code (total viewing duration of the piece)
If the juror does not accept the work, it will be the student’s responsibility to retrieve their DV tape from the Anderson Gallery on Friday, April 6 from 2-5 PM
If the work is accepted, it will be the student’s responsibility to retrieve their miniDV tape during the de-installation of the exhibition on Monday, April 21 between 9AM and 430PM.
DV Tapes will be collected for review by the juror at the Fine Arts Building from 10-4PM Tuesday, April 1.
For those who wish to enter video as an installation piece it will be your responsibility to provide all necessary equipment for your work. You will be responsible for both the installation and de-installation of your work and must install your piece at the Fine arts building for judging. If your work is accepted then it will be your responsibility to install the piece at vcuarts Anderson Gallery on Monday April 7.
