The Villa-Lobos Festival welcomes proposals from soloists and ensembles to perform work(s) by Villa-Lobos. Each solo performer or ensemble will be allotted twenty minutes. Please submit two copies of your proposal and two copies of a CD of your performance of the work(s). The material will not be returned.

The proposal should include on a separate sheet the performer’s name, address, phone number, e-mail address, abridged CV as well as the title and duration of the submitted composition(s). Proposals from ensembles should include names of all performers, as well as a contact person’s address, phone number, e-mail address, and the title and duration of the submitted composition(s).

• Solo presenters selected agree to pay the festival registration fee by March 1, 2008. High school performers do not have to pay the registration fee.
• Performers in small ensembles selected agree to pay the festival registration fee by March 1, 2008. Performers in high school ensembles do not have to pay the registration fee.
• The Villa-Lobos Festival can make available no travel monies for accepted presenters.
• Maximum length of time for presenters will be twenty minutes.
• Late submissions will not be considered.
