Heide Trepanier lives and works in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. She began studying natural science in 1989, but switched to art and earned a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1995. Trepanier has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally and is represented by Stux gallery in New York and Pillar Parra + Romeo Galleria in Madrid, Spain. She also has extensive curatorial experience and has been working as an art instructor at the graduate and undergraduate levels since 2001.
