Hilary Wilder is a 2006 recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in the Visual Arts. In 2004, she completed a fellowship as both a Visual Artist resident and a Critical Studies resident in the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. Wilder has recently exhibited work at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Devin Borden Hiram Butler Gallery (Houston), Bucket Rider Gallery (Chicago), and Arthouse (Austin), and has participated in art fairs in Miami Beach and Paris. Her videos have been screened at the Chicago International Film Festival, the Art in Motion II festival at the University of Southern California, and the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, among other venues. In addition, she has written catalogue essays for exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Rice University Art Gallery. Wilder received an M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 2001.
