Visiting Artists

The Department of Painting and Printmaking believes that an important part of the training of artists is to meet and discuss art with the widest possible range of practitioners. For this reason, we maintain an active program of visiting professionals from the art world. Leading figures in the world of contemporary art are invited to the school to lecture on their work. MFA students are granted special access to these artists, critics, and curators by way of one-on-one studio visits and small group seminars.
