New and transfer students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree Program with a major in Photography and Film must meet the admission requirements of the School of the Arts as well as those of the university.

Applicants considered for admission must submit a visual portfolio to the School of the Arts. The portfolio is designed to measure the applicant’s ability and aptitude for the visual arts.

New students spend their first year in the Art Foundation Program and apply to Photography and Film in the Spring of their freshman year.
