Profile: Associate Professor of Management and former chairman of the Department of Management, specializes in organizational communication, intercultural communication, and technical writing. He is currently serving as the VCU Self-Study Director for the upcoming Southern Association of Colleges and Schools reaffirmation of accredition in 2004. He has published over a dozen articles in professional journals and trade publications, has served as reviewer of both textbooks and professional journals and has presented papers at local, state, and national conferences. In 1985 he received the inaugural School of Business Distinguished Professor award. In 1995 he received the School of Business Distinguished Service Award. He is Past President of the Virginia Business Education Association and is a member of several professional associations including the Association for Business Communication.
