Research: Capital market research, Earnings management, Management earnings forecasts, Fair value accounting,and other topics in Financial, Managerial Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems. Dr. Park joined VCU School of Business in the Fall 2004 and teaches accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels including Ph.D. class in Accounting. Dr. Park is the recipient of the VCU School of Business 2007-2008 Distinguished Scholar Award. His research has appeared in such journals as Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, British Accounting Review, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. In continuing his professional participation in research, Dr. Park serves on the editorial board of Journal of Accounting and Finance, and as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals.
