Profile: Associate Professor in the Department of Management, currently teaches undergraduate organizational behavior classes and Ph.D. level classes in organizational behavior and research methods. Her research interests include employee compensation programs, particularly employee reactions to benefits; work-life issues with a particular emphasis on part-time or reduced load work at the managerial and professional levels and work-life issues in small organizations; and leadership and motivation issues within organizations. Dr. Williams has published numerous articles on management topics in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational Psychology and Journal of Family Issues among others. In addition she has authored three book chapters. Dr. Williams has presented numerous papers at the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology and Academy of Management, National, Midwest and Southern Meetings. Dr. Williams also serves as an occasional reviewer for Academy of Management Journal, Human Resource Management Journal, Personnel Psychology and Journal of Management among others. Dr. Williams is a member in the Academy of Management (nationally and regionally), the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
