The University of KwaZulu-Natal Jazz Legacy Ensemble, performing predominantly South African repertoire,including compositions by UKZN alumni and other musicians who have had a significant relationship with UKZN. Appearing as part of an exchange program between UKZN and VCU Jazz Studies. Music Personnel include Sakhile Simani (trumpet), Linda Sikhakhane (tenor sax), Sebastien Goldswain (guitar), Lungelo Ngcobo (piano), Ildo Nandja (bass), and Sphelelo Mazibuko (drums). Their director is Prof. Neil Gonsalves.
