| Description | |
Join Dr. Garfinkel as he shares the exciting excavation results from the largest Yarmulkian site yet discovered in the central Jordan valley. The discovery of 300 art objects at Sha'ar HaGolan, many of them figurines in human form made of fired clay or carved on pebbles, suggest that it was the birthplace of a votive style of abstract art. Free and open to the public. Contact: Chelsea Wilkinson, 540-471-7327
