| Qualifications: Applicants must(1)possess a doctoral degree in epidemiology or related field,(2)have a strong research background with an emerging or existing funded research program,and(3)have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially with students and faculty. Candidates whose research focus includes: social epidemiology, nutritional epidemiology, cardiovascular disease epidemiology, and cancer epidemiology are particularly encouraged to apply. We value experience teaching and mentoring at the graduate level. The successful candidate will have strong quantitative and methodologic expertise. Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful candidates will play a central role in the Departments program of teaching and research. Faculty members will be essential members of a team developing creative, innovative approaches to public health education and collaborative research. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and sustain an independent, funded research program. | |
