| Description: The department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine has a strong initiative in molecular and cellular signaling. We are seeking an individual with a background and training in biochemistry and molecular biology to provide administrative and scientific support to the Department Chair. |
| Qualifications: The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or a related field and at least four years of relevant postdoctoral experience. Must be readily available for an interview. Experience with writing grants to at least one major federal research-funding agency is required. Must have demonstrative oral/written skills to include word processing, spreadsheet and email software, and ability to work under tight deadlines. |
