| Description: Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs is seeking an Associate Dean for Professional Instruction and Development. This is a faculty position that will assist in planning, implementing and providing oversight of instructional resources to support faculty development, teaching and learning in the SOM. This position is key in providing an organized, efficient and responsive development support environment for faculty. The position reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. |
| Qualifications: Position qualifications include knowledge of appropriate educational resources within the University, SOM and medical education community. Applicants should have experience as a faculty administrator, demonstrated teaching excellence, and a commitment to facilitate faculty development and learning activities. Applicants must have an earned doctorate degree, knowledge of educational and instructional technology, learning resources and techniques, and demonstrated organizational and communication skills. |
