Description:  VCU Institute of Molecular Medicine (VIMM) is currently initiating a search for several research Instructors. VIMM is building an outstanding team to pursue translational research in the broad areas of cancer, neurodegeneration and infectious diseases.
Qualifications:  Successful candidates should have a doctoral degree and a minimum of three years of postdoctoral training in state of the art molecular biological techniques and animal disease models that are relevant to the mission of the VIMM. Evidence of previous research productivity as exemplified by high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals is required. We expect the incumbent to work on collaborative projects ongoing in the VIMM and to also work toward developing independent research programs.
