| Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for academic advisement of majors and minors, event planning and coordination, fiscal management, maintenance of student files, and other tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the Department. In addition, the successful candidate will teach four courses each academic year. | |
| Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have both administrative and teaching experience. Teaching experience in the area of African, African American, or African Diaspora Studies is preferred; will seriously consider teaching experience in related areas. A masters degree in African Studies, African American Studies, Africana Studies or a related discipline is required. A Doctorate is preferred. | |
