| Description: |
Access is a relational database that allows users to create queries, forms, or reports. This class will include customizing forms and reports, and create data access pages.
Learning Objectives:
- Add text and graphic elements including lines, rectangles, and pictures to a form
- Make data entry easier on a form by adding a combo box control, a list box, and an option group
- Add a command button to a form by using the Command Button Wizard
- Create a form that contains a subform by using the Form Wizard
- Organize a report’s records by sorting and grouping report records
- Set report control properties to enhance the data display
- Control white space between records and control manual page breaks
- Include data that is printed at the beginning or end of each group of data on your report
- Create a report design that can be used to print labels to fit standard forms
- Create a data access page using the Page Wizard
- Change the appearance of the page and its controls
- View and edit data for the underlying table by using the data access page in a browser
- Group records on a data access page and then expand or collapse your view to see detail records as needed
