| Description: | We live in a time of information abundance and potential overload. Now more than ever, faculty and students need better ways to manage, organize, and share information. This session will introduce participants to Google Reader, which can collect and aggregate information through RSS feeds as it is updated on multiple web sites. Online bookmarking sites like Delicious are also becoming a popular way to store, classify, share and search links found on the Internet. We will explore how to use these applications for both personal information management and student learning. |
