| Description: | The OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard, 29 CFR 1910.120, requires covered employees to receive eight hours of annual refresher training in several specified areas. This course is intended to enable employers to comply with this requirement for their employees. Such employees will work at Superfund or RCRA clean/corrective action sites, state designated hazardous waste sites, and in emergency response involving hazardous substance releases. Materials covered will include safety and health hazards present at sites, work practices, use of PPE, engineering controls and equipment, and medical surveillance. |
