Description: JavaScript is a programming or script language, which can be imbedded in Web pages and read by the user`s browser, not by the Web page server. It is used to do things such as open a separate browser window, display a message when the mouse moves over an object on the page, and create rollovers and slideshows. This scripting language adds interactivity and other features to Web pages.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply transitions and special effects
  • Utilize calendar, clock, and time features
  • Engage in dynamic HTML (DHTML) actions
  • Create scrolling text
  • Develop slideshows
