| Description: | NOTE: VCU will be migrating to Blackboard v9.0 in May of 2010. To assist faculty members with this transition, the CTE will begin offering workshops that focus on using Blackboard 9.0 in March of 2010. Blackboard 9 brings many new changes for current VCU faculty members and students. This hands-on workshop will prepare you to begin effectively using Blackboard 9 to enhance your class. Topics include the basics of web based course design, organization of course materials, linkage to other web resources and customization to have Blackboard match your instructional needs, moving from access and convenience to learning. The web tools can open new doors to designing and offering learning-centered courses. |
