| Description: | NOTE: VCU will be migrating to Blackboard v9.0 in May of 2010. To assist faculty members with this transition, the CTE will begin offering workshops that focus on using Blackboard 9.0 in March of 2010. Blackboard 9 is the first big update in Blackboard in years. It now contains a built-in blogging tool and journal tool which open opportunities for student collaboration. This session will explore group work in Blackboard 9, blogging options, and alternative uses of discussions. These tools can open new doors to designing and offering learning-centered courses. |
