Completion of SPSS (PASW) Level 1 or equivalent knowledge.
(Content in PASW 18.0 Brief Guide Chapters 1,2,3 and 9).

The workbook for this class is PASW 18.0 Brief Guide (165 pages). It is recommended that your print your own copy of this workbook and bring it with you to class: PASW 18.0 Brief Guide

If you do not bring this workbook to class, copies will be available for use during class, but these cannot be removed from the classroom.

This is a continuation of the SPSS(PASW) Level 1 class. It covers the remainder of workbook used in the Level 1 class, PASW 18.0 Brief Guide, as time permits.

Learning Objectives:
  • Produce summary statistics for categorical and scale variables (Ch 5)
  • Create and edit charts (Ch 6)
  • Use the PASW Output Viewer and use the PASW Pivot Table Editor to customize PASW output (Ch 7)
  • Paste, edit, save and run PASW syntax (Ch 8)
  • Sort and select data (Ch 10)
