In a collaborative effort between the Partnership for People with Disabilities and the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance, this curriculum was developed to train professionals within the Criminal Justice System about people with Disabilities who are victims of domestic violence and sexual Assault. Topics of chapters include an introduction to domestic violence and sexual assault, information about different types of disabilities, the Americans with Disabilities Act, area resources, and copies of handouts and group exercises.
